Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Rodent Control Mission Viejo LLC, trading as Rodent Control Mission Viejo (“we”, “us”, or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we collect through https://rodentcontrolmissionviejo.online and our services in Mission Viejo, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and which privacy rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and service address when you request an inspection, call us, or send a message.
  • Service details: what you tell us about the pest activity at your property, the service you are interested in, and any access, pet or health information relevant to performing the work safely.
  • Service records: inspection findings, photographs of entry points and affected areas, treatment logs, quotes, invoices and warranty documentation created in the course of providing services.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server and any analytics tooling we use may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This information is used in aggregate to keep the site secure, understand which content is useful, and improve performance. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site is built as a static website and does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, this policy will be updated before they are deployed. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies at any time through its settings.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and schedule an inspection or service visit.
  • To prepare quotes, perform the agreed work and maintain service records.
  • To invoice you and process payment.
  • To honour warranty obligations and follow up on service outcomes, including reminder and re-service scheduling.
  • To comply with legal, licensing, insurance and record-keeping requirements applicable to licensed pest control operators in California.
  • To improve our services and website, and to send occasional seasonal prevention tips or service reminders.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. When we share information

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: scheduling, invoicing, payment processing, email and hosting providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Subcontractors: where specialist work (for example insulation replacement or construction repair) is performed by a partner, limited to the information needed to complete that work.
  • Property stakeholders: where you have authorised us to report to a landlord, property manager, HOA or health inspector.
  • Legal requirements: where disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to establish or defend legal claims.
  • Business transfer: if the business is sold or merged, records may transfer to the acquiring entity subject to this policy.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not result in service are generally retained for up to 24 months. Service records, treatment logs and invoices are retained for at least the period required by California pest control licensing and tax law, typically a minimum of three years, and longer where an active warranty or dispute applies. When information is no longer needed we delete it or render it anonymous.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls on customer records, and staff training on handling customer data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected individuals as required by law in the event of a breach involving personal information.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and its sources.
  • Request a copy of that information in a portable format.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse service, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

The California Attorney General provides a public CCPA rights and rules guide with more information about these rights.

7. Text messages and email

If you provide a mobile number, we may text you about appointment scheduling, technician arrival and service follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You will still receive necessary service messages about an active job.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
